Yeah!, your going somewhere bro :D
Awsome!
just a little sumthing i would suggest:
add MORE instruments or higher the volume of the current setup ;)

shown from the quality-ala-side it is awsome quality :)
so, i gues my summery says enough dont ya think!

-Timo

CRomDayLeR responds:

Thx!

I was thinking about another instrument too when I made it, but...um...well...to lazy xD.

I am very happy that you liked it. :D

Hmm

Youre idea's are cool, but the mixing and stuff is a bit low leveled,
im especially missing kick-compression.
and ofcourse some better cymbals and/or percussion would be nice to roll that compressed kick and make an awsome off or on -beat bass to it as a following for the synth's / pad's / arp's ect. :D
These synth choices are a bit harsh, i get more the feeling that these fit better in hardstyle or some other hard stuff like hardtrance.

positive pointers:
-Trancegate is nice!
-bass BEAT is great, fits the notes nicely
-this kick youre using could be compressed in an awsome way! :)

hope this helps you a bit on a next trance journey :)
Youll get my 8 n 5ed!

-Timo

MrFijiWiji responds:

will try some kick compression
and ive just got vec2 the other day
i think that will fix ur issue with samples...
but i actually really enjoyed the samples in this song :/

Well

tbh, sounds a bit like Barthezz / Bart Claessen at some points :)
for example: 4.09 - 4.39 ;)
Keep it up

MaelouX responds:

Thks! sorry but i don't know Barthezz / Bart Claessen :x
I'll check it out ;)

You know

whats funny about your last name 'blackwell'
is that its like dis idiot/silly dj:
Hardwell [also house, but wouldnt recommend to listen]

so i know this isnt going anywhere but i just wanted to tell you :)

and about the song, its far MORE better then Hardwell :D
awsome bro!
5/5 - /9/10

Prodigal responds:

HAHAHA Hardwell.

Don't know him, don't care.

Thanks for the review! Didn't expect that much views on this but I guess anything can happen :D

You know,

I felt it in my toe's and fingertips.
most of the time that's a good thing to know[for myself, or others].
So keep at this point! your very VERY good at it! :)

5/5 - 10/10

Charleon responds:

Thank you my loyal follower, As a creative source I see loads of problems with the song after making it, but I'm glad it inspires, and I have alot more to come, so stay tuned! =)

Hmm

watch out when your doing a double or triple kick combo :)
sometimes it can distord the bass or even fade both of them.
Nice as always, smooth and peacefull :)

5/5 - 9/10

-Timo

unrealdark responds:

I know, but it wasn't that distorted. When I did I tried to use as less sounds I could. So the fading outs aren't hearable. Clippers and volume envlopes for the win! :)
Thanks for the review! It's appreciated!

This is,

an interesting style youve made yourself.
i can clearly hear those styles combining points, and fits real good!
i never thought you where still into trance/progressive/dance ect.
But what i love the most of your song is the hard percussion/cymbal loop
that rolls the kick and bass! :)

anyways, i have no more words to give,
so i give it a 5/5 - 10/10 :)

Awsome job!

-Timo

unrealdark responds:

Neither was I. Though I got back in those genres again.
Thanks for noticing this tiny but effective style of percussion. I didn't use loops.
I'm trying to get rid of them in my tracks. Thanks for the input once more! It's appreciated!

Now you have to tell me where to found dis synth sound :D

4/5 - 8/10

DJ-xTc responds:

I made it with z3ta by changing some settings with the commercial trance preset

Wow hold it!

This is awsome mate :)
A great job, but i dont understand the guy right under me telling you to slow it down with you telling to slow it down to 132bpm?
i think 134 - 136,5 would fit nicely..

But anyways its your music :)
And its already great enough.

5/5 - 10/10 [ ill fav when youve finnished it ]

-Timo

Prodigal responds:

Thanks man.

The guy under this review is actually right. To make the more progressive feel, I should slow it down to 132 to actually make it sound really nice. I usually use 134-136 but I think i'll try something different this time around.

Thanks for the review man, i'll let ya know when the full comes out!
