hey just dropped by, i came from ralaiyx3's Bastion remix and thought your review was pretty good,
that said, i expected to hear a great tune at the least lol. but i was mistaken, and maybe i put my expectations a bit to high. forgive me for that.
to the review/my thoughts;
ive given it a listen, maybe 2 or 3 more listens.
make it 4. and ive come to the conclusion that the overall volume is pretty low. why?
the builds and 'drops' as far as you can call it drops are good. quality-wise it lacks the clearness and/or crispiness. the song seems stuffed with lots of noise (noise from the instruments) which makes it seem like its a filled song with lots of potential. im not saying this hasnt potential at al okay.
it has potential. but not enough in this 'state'
consider splitting some of the instruments and put it in different 'registers' to get an even balance of actual sound and noise if you follow me.
that said, i do not think this song is bad.
2 months of work is pretty long for what came to the surface.
word of small advice; keep it simple and true.
also i took a listen to your DnB song before this one and it has WAAAYYY more body.
did you do something different to make 'Final Chorus' ?
i totally agree with BronyLegend here.
this piece could have been much more powerful/bigger than it is now. EVENTHOUGH you weren't trying to make it a big thing.
i always try to tell or show people that any bass frequention is a must-have when it comes
to making a good song or just any piece of music in general. without it feels kind of.. heartless/empty.
even your own speaking voice reflects a vorm of bass that kicks in at different (lower) tones when talking.
anyway, dont let yourself discourage by the low ratings and votes.
thats just more of a.. A-hole thing rather than an ok-im-going-to-vote/rate-fair thing.
lots of A-hole's on this site. including myself, i dont know how much exactly.
lol its ok im glad someone listened though ^^
im glad im still using FL10 :)
nice song!
the melody is really nice! i think the best yoiu ever did :)
but the dubstep/elektro wubs make it hard to listen to bc i think its in the same register, maybe you should make the elektro sounds more mono and the melody more stereo, or the other way around(melody more mono, elektro sounds more stereo) that way people can listen to both at the same time lol
YES, Tottaly agree with you... Thats becouse I made the lead first and then wanted to seperate those part, made clasic electro house track with long bass & Lead but I wanted to try something new so it kinda fall into same freq. reg.
It´s my first song of that gendre and I deffinitly want to keep makeing songs like this. Complextro/dubstep mixed with Electro-house :D
I always missed melody on dubstep track couse u cant really use many notes, it´s just on the synth. I will try to perfect that style over the time :)
Thanks for pointing that out and for the tip.
voted 5, love her voice and the lyrics.
however, is it just me or is your guitar a bit out of tune/tone?
Superb delay!
indeed,
nice one!
now i can finally enjoy my morning.
thanks, me too.
So you're using D-Chain now?
nice remake! if it wasnt for this submission i would have never known about the original which is pretty epic i must say, however.
i feel like the 'guitar' part at the near end of your remake is a bit high on the ears,
try to cut the mid-high and high ends while EQing next time if you please :)
faving!
Thank you!! : )
