adding a more puncier kick will only ruin your mix,
and thats where most uplifting 'creators' fail to get me interested.

uplifting music like this (im not refering TO uplifting itself) im just saying it sounds ALLOT like it,
'lacks' a true form of bass, other then the weird punchy kicks its all a pile of 'crap' combined with awsome melodies.

im not attacking you or this track, im attacking uplifting in general,
i really do hate any kind, unless some one is refering to older uplfting before it went wrong.
so dont get the wrong idea alright, im NOT someone looking for a fight, im just saying what i think and what not.

as for this piece, it really REALLY needs work to satisfy me.

Pulsar013 responds:

Oh - I know it needs work - I really have stopped this tracks progression - it was more of an experiment. However, a punchy kick just makes a track bouncy. Which most progressive tracks have. I understand its your preference, and as for the bass - it varies from DJ. Uplifting - your right has great melodies theres no doubt - the rest of the stuff is what gives the track its substance. U cant have one without the other.

And dont worry - Im def. going be revamping my style. Thanx for the critique.

wonderfull melodies, however you wont get far by just that.
the drums (imo) kinda feel weak..
now i think thats bc of the pressure of a pad, lower the mids, around 300Hz
then do the opposite with ur kickdrum and others if necessary and it SHOULD be fine :)
-the opposite as in boosting a little around 300hz

Shabadaman responds:

I took your advice and decided to act accordingly, i adjusted the pads and boosted the melody. The drums should be stronger too

i always feel tied to a certain pattern or certain genre(s)
expacially progressive n trancy.
this kinda demo sounds pretty,
love the deep bass, sometimes it goes offkey (if im right that is, hard to tell...)
and its a little to hard (in volume)
love the piano dudes!
kickdrum kinda feels.. mweh xD i wont judge it.. lets put it like that lol >.>

i feel there is or could be a long road ahead.
and strongly suggest to follow it wherever its taking u.

AytonHunter responds:

I, to, like the progressive n trancy genres!
I'll have a look at the deep bass, but sounds okay to me x)
And I'm not amazing at mastering my volume at the moment,
Or making a decent kick drum for the matter haha!
I'm getting closer to it though :P

Thanks for the review dude! :)

the beginning kinda.. 'pushed' as in disturbing, my attention away.
but as soon as the 4/4 kicks came it kinda grabbed my attention again.
tho the kick doesnt need a boost like Pulsar said, but i agree with its other statements.

2.28 -> onward doesnt fit imo. it suddenly changes, too fast.

i also kinda miss a trancy bassline, and ofcourse some wonderfull pluck melodies, im sure there are plenty of inspirational sources around the net/radiostations (real artists) that might inspire you in doing the plucks or other things.
or maybe not.. lol.

anyhow this was my review,
the end lol

AeronMusic responds:

uhu i know. I've got not the right sound/presets for trance i think. I'm sometimes too lazy to create the presets by myself. And yes i agree, the kick is must be louder and yes, 2:28 is the worst part ever in this song. I need more time and i'm sure i can make good songs but, I'll try in the future. Thank you!

now i dont see the.. clue, but it really got me roflolling.
anyways..
if this is the future of hardhouse (like you call it) it really has changed througout the years lol.
this needs work imo, especially the lead, it sounds too harsh imo. it some points it just sounds like pure distortion, but i guess thats the pressure.
i like the beat tho :)

-my voting is based on reality by comparing this song/loop
with other released or unreleased songs.
face it or get real :)

YakovlevArt responds:

Interesting review. I don't expect you to be anything but honest tho.
imo the track is cool. I am not creating a new genre in any way, just saying what it might sound like, Hardcore...and house...
Thanks for the review tho :)

to ratkinzluver33;
what bass?? its a darn low cut..

it needs moar basz <33

b4ttle responds:

There's bass, lol just kinda... hidin in there xD

not going to doubt your feelings.
but was this precious soul darkish/calming?
atleast thats what i sense.
dont know if this is true or wrong.

i think the god's among us, provided with allot of spirtual and trancy energy somethingish, fairly demand you to finish it.
and so do i.

hope this is not.. serious or whatever.. lol
and i also hope this isnt ur voice in the beginning and middle somewhereish..
that would be even more... whateverish o_O lol
consider this as a fucking bad review alright.
bc thats what it is. :D

wow consider it SOLD lol

b4ttle responds:
