right off the bet, i like the entire composition.
what i for some reason don't like is the eq color. (i know sounds weird let me explain)

feels like you've taken too much out from the mid section to make the song sound this way.
its better you take out this region of frequencies per sound so you have absolute total control.

other than that, keep improving and ill be on the lookout for more!

EDIT: bumped the score by half a star because you made this with a completely different DAW then you are used to.
i can understand the difficulty fixing this track, no worries.

Yeah, the thing about this track is that I made it for a music production class, which utilizes Ableton, instead of the FL Studio that I use at home. With so many people making tracks at the same time, we are only able to use headphones for mixing and overall production, so that in and of itself is already a blow out to the mix. I don't have Ableton myself, so I could only take a WAV of the song and mess around with it in FL to attempt to make the mix better.

When I was testing the track out, the basses were WAY too loud, and certain portions were just hot garbage. I tried my best to fix up the mix of the WAV with some eq, but as you said, I couldn't do a whole lot without completely missing some parts to fix, like the mids. The main problem is me just not having the sound ability, when I was actually making the track in my class, to get the right balance of volume for the frequencies.

Love this song, the calm parts are very well done imo, its simple yet catchy.
Once again your kick needs a little love to fullyb lend in with the mix but im sure you'll find a way.

though it seems to me, the start of your kick and/or tail is overpowering everything to the point it moves/pushes all the other sounds to the back.
