so here i am.. still awake while i should be sleeping..
Hello to you sir! haha

the moment i started playing this song i thought it was elektro lol
the first cuttoff (vocal) synth is off key.. you might want to fix that at 0.13 - 0.16

the melody coming in at 0.31 sounds epic! reminded me a bit of hardtrance melodies.
good fill at 1.03! but im not sure what the weird breakbeat/trap beat is about? i dont really like it that much if im honest. you best use a snare roll of some kind, there are serious a thousand ways to do a snare roll.
alright so after the build it sounds good again.
at 1.49 there's a Snare drum overpowering everything with its volume but most with its reverb.. might want to fix it.

hmm again the breakbeat/trap beat..
the main synth is nice in a strange way lol

hmm the outro was a bit like.. IN YOUR FACE and gone.. bit too fast for me.

overall i would say i like this song for 55% the hats where imho perfectly done,
but the structure, the idea behind the song is a bit unclear to me.

my suggestion is that you should try and listen to other trancy songs, study the structure of them and possibly the waveform!

Shabadaman responds:

Thanks for the honest review! I suppose I didn't have a clear direction in my head, maybe that's something i'll work on next time.

do the robo yeah

AeronMusic responds:

Exactly ^__^

i hope all this teasing is going to pay off in the end!

ive heard worse ;)

i could sum you a whole list of things on what to improve but im not really in the mood to give any constructive info and or advice. sorry bout that!
Just ignore my useless review and improve DAT SKILZZ if you please!

why the dubstep sounds? the song would have been much better without it because the melody is epic enough to do justice! ;)

YakovlevArt responds:

I don't know what you mean about "dubstep sounds".. you mean the bass?
haha, that's not dubstep, it's just a harder bass sound to give the track some diversity ans contrast, it's not unheard of. Ever listen to the sounds of artists like Shogun or even Armin?

I really miss krussi.

Hah! been a while since i checked your stuff, lovely vibes and really blasting Qwamii elements in this!

i dont think i ever did a proper review on this now did i?
anyways, to the start!
~you start off good with the right signature, i can clearly hear its Rainforest in an instant!
~the chords then rapidly yet slowly start to gain more and more which i totally love in a tune like this
~i can not say your mastering is perfect..but darn it, those percs and hats fit like a monkey and banana
~the sudden expected break around 1.20 is.. sudden? i guess lol but i totally love it when you get back at the love kickdrum, pluck and bass.
~recognizable build up again, sounds like the intro but with more attitude, more body!
~Lovely build around 3.50 again! and wow.. after it.. you tease us like fucking animals! :)
shame it doesnt last too long, but maybe its best not to lol
ive been doing some re-edits too in the past but they never ever passed your version, which is almost excellent in my honest opinion!

again, thanks for the lovely teases and lovely remix! ;)

nice one brothah, sexy bass!
but i have to agree with the guy beneeth me(xXKiteXx)
it needs more beat and more sounds to make it longer (doh) lol
but it was enjoyable !

forgottenskies responds:

<33! I spent so much time of dat bass ! lol.
Thank you so much :)

respect!

IIPhase responds:
