Yah I should look out for that repeating melody, it's so tempting to just keep it and not bother switching it up. I had another part inside the song but I cut it out so it is a little more repetitive now. The distortion at 1:53 I actually love lol, I thought it sounded pretty cool. Thanks for the review

you turned mid frequencions down when you mastered and thats why there isnt allot of bass??
the bass is anything beneeth 250hz +/-
and 250+hz is called MID bass..
atleast thats what i tell myself everytime.
anyhow besides this i feel you did really great remixing Faxin Berlin :)
so dont get me wrong.
to bad there isnt allot of self-interpretation.
the remixer's sound(in this case you are the remixer) is always present in the remix..
but i dont feel like im listening too DJ Dela's Remix for example.. just a copy-remix.

You're completely right about the bass, I didn't express myself correctly, but I know the difference, I meant to say mid + low freq's, lol.
Maybe you didn't quite understand what I did here.
Just read the description, I wanted to recreate the song, not change it in a way of remix.

maybe i confused you with something..
but kicks are really really harmfull when you use compression, cz the compression takes allot of the kicks bass part away with the incomplete/wrong settings.
the PAD sound which comes in slowly around 1:10 is having ALLOT of reverb.
trance songs are known for their use of reverb but this is a over the top if you get me :)
other then that i think the tension is quite high.. you should lower some volume on the PAD :)
and add the FL 'Grossbeat' with the Sidechain setting. helps allot.
one other thing is that i cannot hear any 'seperate' bass, apart from your melody's.
well.. these are my pointers so far mannn, keep rocking, youll get there eventually.
