dude

its G0000D,
just telling it so you can make it some longer :)

and by telling you gotta follow this up, IIPhase's advice is good too you know ;)

-Timo
Btw: if you need a 'little' help, ill be on NG from time to time..

Forgot to mention:
5/5 - 10/10

Hmm

watch out when your doing a double or triple kick combo :)
sometimes it can distord the bass or even fade both of them.
Nice as always, smooth and peacefull :)

5/5 - 9/10

-Timo

unrealdark responds:

I know, but it wasn't that distorted. When I did I tried to use as less sounds I could. So the fading outs aren't hearable. Clippers and volume envlopes for the win! :)
Thanks for the review! It's appreciated!

This is,

an interesting style youve made yourself.
i can clearly hear those styles combining points, and fits real good!
i never thought you where still into trance/progressive/dance ect.
But what i love the most of your song is the hard percussion/cymbal loop
that rolls the kick and bass! :)

anyways, i have no more words to give,
so i give it a 5/5 - 10/10 :)

Awsome job!

-Timo

unrealdark responds:

Neither was I. Though I got back in those genres again.
Thanks for noticing this tiny but effective style of percussion. I didn't use loops.
I'm trying to get rid of them in my tracks. Thanks for the input once more! It's appreciated!

w00t

Now you have to tell me where to found dis synth sound :D

4/5 - 8/10

DJ-xTc responds:

I made it with z3ta by changing some settings with the commercial trance preset

Wow hold it!

This is awsome mate :)
A great job, but i dont understand the guy right under me telling you to slow it down with you telling to slow it down to 132bpm?
i think 134 - 136,5 would fit nicely..

But anyways its your music :)
And its already great enough.

5/5 - 10/10 [ ill fav when youve finnished it ]

-Timo

Prodigal responds:

Thanks man.

The guy under this review is actually right. To make the more progressive feel, I should slow it down to 132 to actually make it sound really nice. I usually use 134-136 but I think i'll try something different this time around.

Thanks for the review man, i'll let ya know when the full comes out!

Well

if i may be very honest with you, this is not typically house...
or prog-house

i can hear that your start is a bit housy until it reaches 0.16 sec's
and im missing a bassline that leads under your synth's :)
maybe thats the solution!

Tiesto listener?

Yet i didnt know you'd listen to tiesto [once? - quit some time?]

Anyways, dont listen to his creations from nowadays.. they suck big time :)
Tiesto was on fire from the late 90's till maybe mid 2005..
he's peaked #2 on the worlds best dj's/producers today.. but just isnt worth it anymore..
Even if he makes house things[kinda].. he has become old and need to retire :)

too bad i was too young to visit one of his great concerts back in the years..
a real shame, but lucky me got almost all of his dvd's TILL 2005 :)

This cant rly be

Its always hard, hard to find yourself, to find another way, push yourself through a wall of emotions and even stand up after you'd fall from the reach.

these words i'd just spoke are the words your telling me with this piano piece
it has my attention,
the face behind my mask can no longer smile but breaks and cries.
Very well done! your blessed by my soul.

5/5 - 10/10

Musical-Memoirs responds:

anyone can see a different meaning in music
but the words you took out from it are good ones, quite alike the ones for me

tried to make this piece longer, but every time it looses its meaning when it gets longer
im happy to see that there are ones who cares about the feelings in a song
even if its only one other then me, it makes it totally worth making for me

thanks for your blessing

You've gotten my smile :)
This is rly great and i can enjoy every sound and instrument.
I have gotten 1 more tip to give you

Tip: insert a 'Multiband Compressor' into you mixer - MASTER
Ill PM you about that ;)

5/5 - 9/10 ;)

DJ-xTc responds:

i think i did or maybe i just put in the eq =P.
I could use help with the multi band comp. simply because i dont know how to use it at all =(

Hi there xtc :)
i see you managed to come up with skill, thats good!
and i clearly hear its your own.
BUT if your making a chord and want to sound it pure and good
youll prolly need to build these chords like this:

1. bassline [just your own made]
2. copy that line and paste above [replace false notes]
3. do the same again till you have the sound you want.

and im sure if you use the 'key' changer next to the main folume bar it would turn you up :)

Hope it helps a bit eventho my english lags.. :P
-Tim

-> No score YET, just a 9 with my review :)

DJ-xTc responds:

i did that at first but experimented to me all the chords sound in sync but its just the first starting chord that sounds like Ugly xD.

Thx for the Review
